The Orlando & Northwestern heritage railroad operates over track owned by the Florida Central, a Pinsly-owned railroad company that specializes in freight transportation.

The modern day structure is a replica of the original 1880s Tavares, Eustis & Gulf Railroad depot that once stood at this exact location nearly one hundred forty years ago.
